Mountain West Metals offers two distinct standing seam profiles — Snap Lock for faster residential and light commercial installations, and Mechanical Lock for heavy-duty commercial and architectural applications requiring a mechanically seamed, wind-rated connection. Both are manufactured on-site to custom lengths.

What panel widths are available?
Our Snap Lock and Mechanical Lock panels are available in multiple widths to suit different roof spans and aesthetic preferences. Standard coverage widths range from 12" to 18". Contact us with your project specs for exact availability.
What gauges and finishes do you offer?
We supply panels in 24-gauge and 26-gauge steel as standard. Finishes include Kynar 500® PVDF coatings and SMP (silicone-modified polyester) coatings in a wide range of colors. Custom color matching is available for larger projects — contact us for color samples.
What coating systems are available?
Mountain West Metals sources steel with industry-leading coating systems, including Galvalume® substrate for superior corrosion resistance. PVDF (Kynar 500®) topcoats provide long-term color retention and chalk/fade resistance ideal for Utah's high-UV environment.
How do I place an order or request a quote?

Can you manufacture panels to any length?
Yes. Our mobile roll-forming equipment produces panels to your exact specified length — from short residential sections to long commercial runs exceeding 40 feet. There is no standard factory length; every panel is made to order.
Do you supply trim and flashing to match the panels?
